Market research was conducted and determined that Alliant Healthcare is the only vendor capable of providing supplies necessary that meet the requirements. This is a logical follow on. STATEMENT OF WORK OPERATING ROOM MONITORS Introduction/Background The VA New York Harbor Healthcare System is dedicated to providing quality health care to veterans using the abilities of all employees supported by our commitment to education and research. We are recognized locally, regionally, and nationally as a leader in quality patient care, positive customer service, medical/allied health education, health-related research, and employment opportunities. We seek to be the provider of choice of veterans and the community by offering an efficient, integrated quality health care system capable of providing a full range of primary, specialty, and chronic health care services in a readily accessible and responsive system. Our key business drivers are quality, financial integrity, patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction and the VA Medical Center Brooklyn Surgery is a branch of medicine that aims to deal with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of eye and visual system diseases. The eye, its surrounding structures, and the operating system can be affected by several clinical conditions. The surgery department will diagnose and treat all diseases, perform oral surgery, and prescribe and correct problems. Many surgeons are also involved in scientific research on the causes and cures for diseases and disorders. Operating Room Monitors The Monitors medical equipment is designed to optimize healthcare delivery with innovative and flexible solutions that advance patient care and safety, improve workflows and efficiency, boost productivity and maximize the quality of patient care. We need equipment that has quality and durable, because when you are working on a case, the equipment you are using should be the last thing on your mind. These products are built to last with the best quality materials, letting you keep your focus on the task at hand. The physician can monitor your heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and other vital signs to make sure they are normal and steady while you remain unconscious and free of pain The benefit of the equipment allows the surgeons to work with our patients. The surgical monitors and displays are integral to a Hybrid Operating Room environment. These monitors display essential information such as patient vital signs, surgical images, and X-ray images. The placement of these surgical displays around the Hybrid Surgical Suite can occur via ceiling-mounted arms, onto equipment management booms, or even wall mounted. This intuitive software aims to improve patient safety, reduce risk through increased protocol compliance, and increase operational efficiency. In summary, a computer monitor can increase productivity, reduce stress, and time, and create a better environment for increased production. There is a cost-saving element too, and an argument for a laptop with a computer screen is combing the best of both. Increased visibility to evaluate actual equipment utilization and reduce capital equipment purchase needs Increased Department Efficiency The use of real-time analytics, monitoring, and reporting allow staff to develop and improve safety for patients and staff continuously Accelerated completion of biomedical scheduled preventative maintenance Documented improvement in the satisfaction of hospital staff Working in real-time to get you the information you need, right when you need it so the information can be easily accessed An inflatable blood pressure cuff A pulse oximeter, a small instrument that is attached to your finger, toe, or earlobe to measure the level of oxygen in your blood.
