- The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to issue a sole source award to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (Northrop Grumman), 4807 Stonecroft Boulevard, Chantilly, Virginia 20151-3822 under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2301(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii)(A) � Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The contractor, which owns the Technical Data Package (TDP) for the Guardrail Common Sensors (GRCS) Receiving Set, Radio AN/ARW-88(V) used by the Army shall provide depot level repair and reset, provide technical support in order to troubleshoot faults at the unit locations, provide data related to diminishing sources and material shortages and execute redesigns associated with end of life/obsolete parts. The depot---level sustainment services will include on call technical assistance services and reset for portions of the GRCS. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 9:00 AM EST, 04 August 2021. All information submitted should support the offeror�s capability to provide the items and services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror�s bona fide capability to provide the items and services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 5MB.
