Description

The 501st Combat Support Wing has a requirement for the repair and rennovation of a non-residential building at RAF Alconbury, United Kingdom. �Thirteen rooms require various rennovation and refurbishment. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the disclosure of magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.. Notice to Offerors(s)/Suppliers: This is a pre-solicitation notice only. �A formal solicitation is not being issued at this time, however the anticipated solicitation issue date will be on or after 28 May 2021. Funds are not presently available for this effort. �No solicitation nor award will be made under this notice until funds are available. �The Government reserves the right to cancel this notice, either before or after the closing date. �In the event the Government cancels this notice, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. General Information: The scope of work involves, but is not limited to: installing partition walls; relocating a door; replacing an emergency exit door; replacing single doors with wheelchair-accessible double doors; repositioning external windows; refurbishing restrooms and associated plumbing; replacing ceiling tiles; replacing existing light fixtures with LED technology; replacing flooring with vinyl tiles, painting walls. �Please refer to the attached Statement of Work for more details. Completed works must comply with the Unified Facility Guide Specifications (UFGS) or British Standards. �Where British standards conflict with American standards, the more-stringent standard shall take precedence. Offerors must be Authorized Persons, in accordance with UK Ministry of Defence Joint Standard Publication (MoD JSP 375), Management of Health and Safety in Defence Volume 3 Chapter 2: Common Requirements. Site Visit: A site visit �is contingent upon offeror interest, no definite date has been determined yet. �Interested vendors must submit names of attendees no later than 27 July 2021, to allow coordination and issuance of temporary base passes. �Interested offerors should submit no more than three attendees. �Attendees must have a valid government-issued form of identification, and consent to a background check. �Should a site visit occur, the designated meeting area is the Visitor Control Center. �Attendees must also wear a face mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. At a minimum, attendees must supply identification that lists: Full Name Date of Birth Citizenship Make and Model of Vehicles Vehicle Registration Number Driving License Failure to provide any of the request information will result in refusal of base access. �Should a site visit occur, the designated meeting point will be the Visitor Control Center immediately outside of the gate. Place of Performance: RAF Alconbury Bldg 660 Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom, PE28 4DA RAF Alconbury is located approximately 85 miles / 90 minutes north of London.
