- THIS IS A FULL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE VENDORS MUST BE PREQUALIFIED TO PROVIDE A BID. QUALIFICATION REQUIRMENTS ARE ATTACHED. TO ACCESS BIDSET PLEASE REQUEST THROUGH THIS SITE AND SEND A COPY OF CURRENT DD2345 FORM TO RICHARD.MAYNARD.5@US.AF.MIL AND REQUEST DATA RELEASE. There are significant technical requirements to ensure that the configuration baseline for the A-10 Inboard Flap Track Assembly is met. Vendors will have to pass government First Article testing which includes an audit of all material and processing certifications (including but not limited to heat treatment, shot peen, etc.), non-destructive inspections (including but not limited to ultrasonic, penetrant, and magnetic particle), corrosion inhibiting applications. Dimensional requirements must meet Form-Fit-Function needs that ensure approved manufacturing processes have been followed and correct materials were used. This item is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) that requires an AS9100 level of contract quality inspection. The requirements for the Flap Track Assembly are unique to the military and cannot be acquired in the commercial sector. Performance Requirements: Vendors must demonstrate knowledge/experience on items of similar scope and complexity in regards to the following items in order to be considered capable of performing to the requirements of this contract: � Show knowledge/experience of design and manufacture of wedge assemblies � Show that manufacturing capabilities exist to provide this part � Vendor should have capability to create necessary tooling required in the manufacture of the trailing edge wedge assembly � Show capability to perform acceptance testing of the trailing edge wedge assembly � Vendor should have past experience/knowledge with military flight worthiness requirements The flap track assembly has to pass First Article testing. This includes an audit of all certificates to ensure that appropriate procedures have been followed and that correct materials were used. As part of the first Article testing a dimensional inspection will be performed
