- Description
- The United States Forest Service (Tongass National Forest)�requires 1 mile of Red or Yellow cedar puncheon boards (5,280 linear�feet)�for trail reconstruction of the Thayer Lake Trail. Puncheon boards�may be rough and�cut on 1 side, untreated and rustic in nature with no bark, though sapwood may be acceptable. They should be assembled in bundles of 4 (1,320 bundles) for ease of hauling into job sites via pack boards.� The trail is located in and around wet environments - fresh and saltwater.� Materials provided need to withstand these elements. Delivery will be to the Juneau Ranger District in Juneau, AK. Please provide an estimated date of delivery.
