- Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) Contracting Office (Code 440) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought. The sources sought is being issued as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources that might exist in order to support a five year commercial service, multiple award contract indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (MAC IDIQ). The IDIQ will be for valve refurbishment/repair services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a Small Business size standard of $8,000,000 Project Background PSNS&IMF requires the refurbishment/repair of valves of various types and sizes. Task orders will be written from the IDIQ when refurbishment/repair service is needed. Scope PSNS&IMF, Code 440 contracting office, intends to contract for valve refurbishment/repair services supporting projects as required, in Bremerton, Everett, Keyport and Bangor, Washington. The repair services will be performed at the contractor�s facility and shipped to the designated location. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform disassembly, inspection, repair, overhaul, and testing on regulating valves as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for each Task Order (TO). Specific ordering dates and terms will be specified at the task order level. Responses to this Sources Sought/Market Research will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated and incurred by responding to this Sources Sought/Market Research. The Government reserves the right to determine how it should process as a result of this notice.
