- This is a PRESOLICIATION notice. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contract Office (NCO) 22-G intends to issue a solicitation for contractors to provide one (1) Certified Echocardiography Technician for the New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS). The Estimated Period of Performance is: 9/13/2021 to 9/12/2022 with one option year. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 561320 (Temporary Services) with a small business size standard of $30 Million. This solicitation will be posted as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Purchase Order contract. Only one award will be made from this solicitation. The contractor shall perform in accordance with the Performance Work Statement that will be included in the solicitation. The Full Time Equivalent (FTE) position will consist of one (1) Certified Echocardiography Technician. The Echocardiography Technician establishes and maintains responsibility for inpatient echocardiography services to medical and surgical patients in the intensive care units, stepdown units, spinal cord injury unit, general medical floors, emergency department and procedural areas such as cardiac catheterization suite as needed. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Solicitation Package 36C25821Q0295 shall be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/ on or about July 21, 2021. No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. All offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses who respond to a solicitation must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/.
