Description

The United States Coast Guard, Aviation Training Center, Mobile, AL anticipates awarding SOLE SOURCE procurement to Aviation Performance Solutions, LLC (Mesa, AR) for the following: 1. HC-144 Upset Prevention and Recovery Training. 2. Performance Period: August 11-13, 2021. 3. Scope: Three members attend UPRT facilitated by Aviation Performance Solution (APS) in Mesa, AZ.� The three members in attendance will be Assistant Training Division-Fixed Wing, who will serve as course auditor and two HC-144 division instructor pilots, who will serve as subject matter experts.� Training is three days and consists of ground instruction, three flights, and a simulator block.� Upon successful completion, course participants will have an advanced level of capability and proficiency to employ upset prevention and recovery techniques and be able to instruct fleet pilots on these techniques. Tailored simulator instruction to aircraft type is required. Vendor will provide all labor and parts listed in the Schedule. NAICS Code 611512 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 AM CDT 30JUL21 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Purchasing Agent via email address is: Mitchell.A.Robison@uscg.mil If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to Aviation Performance Solutions, LLC (Mesa, AR).
