Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A FIRM FIXED PRICE SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT- THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The Aviation and Missile Command (AvMC) has a sole source requirement for the Spatial Analyzer Ultimate and onsite training for the Spatial Analyzer (to consist of one class eight hours per day spanning three days) covering basic operation of metrology software. This is a Sole Source with Hexagon Metrology, Inc. IAW 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(III)(b) � Hexagon Metrology, Inc. is the only source capable of providing this proprietary software. No solicitation documents exist at this time. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 511210 and the Small Business size standard is $41.5 million based on the U.S. Small Business Administration, Table of Small Business Size Standards. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis to michael.v.bush3.civ@mail.mil. Phone calls will not be accepted.
