- Description
- 36C78621Q0206 Amendment 0001 Questions & Answers The solicitation states the prices will be determined if fair and reasonable by using methods listed below. Number 2 says the Government will use previously proposed prices, has the Government put the same job out for bid before? If so, under what solicitation number? No Number 5 says the Government will use a Gov. cost estimate in this determination. Has the Gov. done a cost estimate for this requirement? Yes. Has the Government done market research to determine that 2 or more SDVOSB are not interested in bidding on this solicitation in order to be able to put the solicitation out for a tiered evaluation instead of set aside for SDVOSB only? Yes, market research was conducted. On the contrary, there has to be 2 or more SDVOSB vendors in order to do Tiered Evaluation not the lack thereof. 3. Page 3 of the SOW states the Gov. will not furnish a storage building. However, is there an area available for the contractor to store equipment onsite? Yes 4. Mowing The scope of work states that during April and May, mowing is normally required more than once per week. Can the Gov. provide historically how many times mowing has been required more than once a week for these months within the past 5 years? Data not available, however any extra mowings are accounted for in the estimated quantity of 39. 5. Does the Gov want the pricing filled in on the Excel sheet Attachment A under tab items or is there another form that needs to be used? Please utilize the spreadsheet. 6. Is the Gov. just wanting the developed acres of 43 maintained or the entire 68 acres maintained? CLINs 11-13 mention 62 acres to be serviced on the Excel price sheet. Can the Gov. state how many acres needs servicing for CLINS 1-7 and CLINS 11-13? All 68 acres need to be maintained (mow/trim/herbicide/fertilizer/leaf pickup, etc.) There are only headstones on the original 43 acres though. 7. How many headstones are there currently? Approximately 12,500 8. What is the average number of burials per year? 450 9. The price sheet lists 5,000 headstones for cleaning each year. Will this increase yearly for new burials? If so, will these need to be cleaned and the CLIN quantities increased per year? This will not increase 10. CLIN 10 FTAs will the Gov want all 5,000 done during one time? Or will the Gov. issue small sections at a time as needed? What will be the minimum number requested at one time and will these be requested by section of the cemetery or spread out throughout the cemetery? Will want all completed at one time 11. Date for receipt of quotes is hereby extended to 8/2/2021 12pm Eastern. 12. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
