- MEDIC-X is a strategic initiative designed to allow all Air Force Specialty Codes (AFSCs) to perform tactical lifesaving skills in severely degraded and overwhelmingly contested environments, with mass casualties, for a prolonged period of time with limited resources. MEDIC-X will do this by causing a shift in culture that will fundamentally change what defines an �Air Force Medic.� All AFSCs and ranks will complete common medical training that is relevant, validated and preserves the fighting force. This requirement is for non-personal, performance based services for AFMS MEDIC-X Strategic Initiative Multimedia Development, Support, and Training Materials. The contractor will develop and deliver cutting-edge, evidence based, multimedia products to support the force-wide introduction of the MEDIC-X strategic initiative as well as training materials. These services will include, but are not limited to, computer-based, video-based, CD/DVD-based, touchscreen-based, and Internet-based educational media/platforms. In addition, the contractor shall design, develop, and deliver a MEDIC-X mobile application for iOS and Android platforms. The contractor shall provide on-going technical maintenance and hosting for web-programs and products that are delivered. The goal and scope of this requirement is to conceptualize, develop, and deliver innovative MEDIC-X multimedia products via various media platforms. The contractor must possess American Forces Public Information Management System (AFPIMS) experience. The contractor will develop MEDIC-X multimedia support programs and products in accordance with all Air Force production policies. The government will have 5 - 7 workdays to review draft deliverables and make comments. The contractor will have 5 - 7 workdays to make corrections. In cases where this is not possible, a written explanation will be provided and recorded. Contractor capabilities must include, at a minimum the following: a. Research and Medical Script Development b. HD Video Production c. Web Application Development d. Mobile Application Development e. Touchscreen Application Development f. Graphic Design g. 3D Computer Modeling and Animation (to include human anatomy and physiology), and h. Fixed Media Design and Development.
