Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. SLAC has a requirement for a U.S. domestic end item source of the following product: Quantity: 1 RED DEVIL G VACUUM FURNACE WITH HIGH VACUUM TURBOPUMP Requirements : 2200C(argon), 2000C (vacuum) graphite hot zone 90 mm dia by 50mm tall 240 l/sec turbomolecular vacuum pump and controller, Edwards nEXT240D 10 cubic meters/hour two stage rotary vane mechanical vacuum pump, Edwards RV8 ultimate vacuum 10-6 mbar, vacuum gauge 10-7 torr to atm, & bourdon tube gauge 20 SCFH flowmeter, overpressure relief valve, gas inlet and outlet valves, manual vacuum valve, 800C to 2300C pyrometer, 0 to 1500C thermocouple Watlow F4T programmable controller with 40 program storage, 6 analog inputs Voltmeter & Ammeter 120 volt, 20 amp SCR and cordset The award will be made based upon the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable method.
