Description
SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, JBSA FT Sam Houston, Texas is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties that have an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for NEW SEMEN ANALYZER, at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, Fort Polk, LA 71459. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811219. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the capacity and authority to provide, 1. The BJACH Laboratory requires a semen analyzer to help providers analyze the health and viability of a male patients sperm. The semen analyzer is a tool to help determine the cause of infertility and post-vasectomy success. Without a semen analyzer, the laboratory must conduct manual microscopy analysis which drastically increases the turnaround time. This would directly affect operations and turn-around times for providers. 2. The equipment request must meet the following salient characteristics: a. Provides automatic results transmission to Laboratory Information Systems (CHCS) b. Produces accurate patient results in less than 3 minutes c. User friendly instrument software and interface d. Provides semi-automated test results (e.g. full morphology differentials) to minimize manual microscopy testing The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to deliver the above-listed supplies are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 4:00 p.m. CST, July 23, 2021. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to veronica.m.brooks2.civ@mail.mil.
