The dust collection system may feature a closed- or open-face design, with redundant filtration system and high capacity, low-noise recirculation fan for maintaining a high-performance application environment. Air must be pulled horizontally from the front of the system through the working depth. The system must be equipped with a primary filter system designed to remove particulates to an acceptable level as defined by OSHA and a redundant filter system with filter monitoring. The filter monitoring system must include an interlock, which signals the operator and automatically shuts down the process and ventilation system when the redundant filter monitor reaches the maximum filter differential. Objective of this RFI: The 171st awarded a Purchase Order for this requirement in FY20, however the order had to be cancelled through no fault of either party. With this RFI, the Government seeks to better understand the vendor presence and product offerings that are available to successfully satisfy this requirement. Below is a list of salient characteristics of what the Government believes to be an adequate solution for this requirement, HOWEVER vendors are more than welcome to provide information on alternative solutions. Responses Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI no later than 30 days after the publication date of this RFI. Please submit all questions, in reference to this RFI, in writing via email to michael.boyd.9@us.af.mil.
