Description

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) requires electrical repair and safety upgrades to its Plant Materials Center�s greenhouse. The greenhouse requires a new electrical panel, wiring, and lighting repairs and safety upgrades to bring it to conformance with current applicable electrical codes and regulations. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, machinery and tools necessary to put into satisfactory operation all electrical equipment specified. Contractor shall connect the various items or sections of the work to form a complete and properly operating entity. All items not specified in detail but necessary for complete installation and proper operation of work described or implied, shall be furnished and installed.� Work shall consist of four(4) main tasks, listed below. Office Greenhouse Electrical Panel - Cutting of Concrete Sidewalk Approx.�4ft x 6"" width toward the Greenhouse. Trenching and Gravel Compaction for Concrete Replacement. Cutler Hammer Raintight Main Breaker 100AMP 24-Circuit Space Electrical Panel to be Pedestal Mounted on the Exterior of the Greenhouse or headhouse. 25' Greenhouse Feeder � 100AMP 120/240 Volt from the Main Electrical Panel to the Greenhouse. Grounding and Bonding of the New Raintight Electrical Panel per National Electrical Code. Office Greenhouse Equipment Wiring - General Purpose Duplex Receptacle Outlets to be GFCI Protected and Weatherproof Flip Up Covers. 150' General Purpose Dedicated Circuit � 20AMP 120 Volt from the New Raintight Electrical Panel to the Corners of the Greenhouse Using Surface Mounted EMT Conduit and Raintight Fittings. Reznor Gas Unit Heater Outlet - Single Pole Switch and Weatherproof Flip Up Cover. 45' Reznor Gas Unit Heater Dedicated Circuit � 20AMP 120 Volt from the New Raintight Electrical Panel to the Single Pole Switch and Terminated at the Unit Heater Using EMT Conduit and Raintight Fittings. Ventilation Fan Outlet - Single Pole Switch and Weatherproof Flip Up Cover. 95' Ventilation Fan Dedicated Circuit � 20AMP 120 Volt from the New Raintight Electrical Panel to the Single Pole Switch and Terminated at the Unit Heater Using EMT Conduit and Raintight Fittings. Inflater Fan Outlet - Single Pole Switch and Weatherproof Flip Up Cover. 35' Inflater Fan Dedicated Circuit � 20AMP 120 Volt from the New Raintight Electrical Panel to the Single Pole Switch and Terminated at the Unit Heater Using EMT Conduit and Raintight. Office Greenhouse Lighting Electrical - Demolition of Existing Branch Circuit Wiring Leaving the Existing Main Electrical Panel and Routed thru the Existing Lighting Control Enclosure. Existing Branch Circuits to be properly Terminated for Safety. Relocate the Existing Lighting Control Enclosure to the Pedestal Structure on the Exterior of the Greenhouse or headhouse. Leviton DDS15-BDZ Timers to be Installed in Lighting Control Panel to Control Greenhouse Lighting. Cutler Hammer Lighting Contactors - 2Pole 30AMP Rated 120 Volt Coil to Control Greenhouse Lighting. 300' Lighting Dedicated Circuit � 20AMP 120 Volt from the New Raintight Electrical Panel to the Structure of the Greenhouse Using Surface Mounted EMT. Conduit and Raintight Fittings. Light Outlet - Single Receptacle 20AMP 120 Volt with Flip Up Cover Using Surface Mounted EMT Conduit and Raintight Fittings. Farm Greenhouse Electrical Panel - GE Bolt to Buss 2100 Branch Circuit Breaker in the Main Electrical Panel. Cutting of Concrete Sidewalk Approx. 4ft x 6"" width toward the Greenhouse. Trenching and Gravel Compaction for Concrete Replacement. Concrete Replacement and Broom Finish to Match the Existing Sidewalk.
