Description

The 316th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to Atel Bus & Service Center, Inc. in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) Only one responsible source is capable of responding. Atel Bus & Service Center, Inc. shall replace and repair the roof, interior cabinets, repair electrical wiring and replace and install A/C units along with other items as stated in the Statement of Work.� The items procured are compatible with the existing equipment being used in the Medical Mobile Trailer, and the requested items are not offered by any other company or reseller. Therefore, Atel Bus & Service Center, Inc. is the only company that can provide the requested items. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811121 and the small business size standard is $8 million. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of any capabilities statements or documents prepared for this notice.
