- Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Loma Linda VA Medical Center, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, with SciMeasure Analytical Systems, Inc for a replacement of the ourdated existing OsteoMeasure Digital Video measuring system . The OsteoMeasure system is equipped with a high-resolution Megapixel CCD camera required for capturing high resolution histomorphometric images for analysis. This high-resolution camera needs to be attached and interfaced with a high-quality fluorescent microscope and appropriate software. VALLHS already has an existing OsteoMeasure software system and Olympus microscope setup in the Research lab. This item is identical to equipment already in use and is the only equipment that is compatible. This is a notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than July 26th, 12PM, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Lynn Portman at lynn.portman@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
