Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE , the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source procurement to the O.E.M., Philips North America, LLC dba Philips Healthcare, A Division of Philips North America for service repair of a Philips NEO C-Arm portable fluoroscopy system located at the Malcom Randall VAMC, 1601 S Archer Rd., Gainesville, FL 32608. In accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901, this announcement is for services for which the Government intends to award to only one source under FAR 6.302-1. The above authority is cited, and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can only be satisfied by services available from one source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by July 26 by 3.00 PM EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. All interests received on or before July 26, 2021 by 3:00 PM EST will be evaluated by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. This notice complies with FAR 5.101.
