Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is issuing a solicitation for the services to repair a Gardner-Denver Air Compressor, commercial services, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 811310, with a Small Business Size Standard of $8.0M as determined by 13 CFR 121.104. Competition for this requirement is Other than small business. �When available, the solicitation documents for this project W912EF21Q0112 will be provided via SAM https://www.sam.gov on or around 26 July 2021. Please do not submit a quote without the solicitation package that will be provided to industry by the Government as specified above. �The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). The official quotation due date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to replace engine rear main seal on the Gardner-Denver Air Compressor, Model #SPKTKA, Serial #722171 as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) (a full PWS will be submitted with solicitation). The Period of Performance (POP) for this work is four weeks (thirty-one days) after award of contract. �If more time is necessary, this will be communicated before contract is awarded. The Contractor shall develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed in accordance with this PWS.� The Contractor shall submit a test report for the Gardner-Denver Air Compressor that was repaired.� The reports shall be provided to the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) with the delivery of the repaired Gardner-Denver Air Compressor.� Forms used for quality control reports are subject to the approval of the Contracting Officer Representative. The Contractor, and not the Government, is responsible for management and quality control actions to meet the terms of the contract. �The role of the Government is quality assurance to ensure contract standards are achieved. In this contract the quality control program is the driver for product quality. The Contractor shall develop a comprehensive program of surveillances and monitoring actions. The first major step to ensuring a ""self-correcting"" contract is to ensure that the quality control program approved at the beginning of the contract provides the measures needed to lead the contractor to success. The Gardner-Denver Air Compressor will be repaired at Contractors own facilities.� Gardner-Denver Air Compressor will be picked up by contractor, after awarded, at McNary�s warehouse.
