- Description
- This service is for the maintenance of UPS & Battery Bank at the High Altitude Electromagnetic Power System on Fort Greeley, Alaska.� The contractor must provide scheduled maintenance services on each component, emergency response for outages, and limited parts replacements such as jars, filters and warranty of all parts.� Fort Greeley is a geographically remote duty location, within the interior of Alaska.� Potential offerors shall take into consideration the location and potential base access restrictions in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic when developing their proposals.�� To provide scheduled preventative maintenance on the UPS, battery banks, generators and HVAC systems (precision cooling system) as part of the HEMP Protected power system. Offeror will provide Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), Emergency Response, Limited parts replacement such as jars and filters and one year warranty of all replaced parts. Remove, replace dispose of batteries (including capacitors and cooling devises) twice, at the Governments option, during the life of the contract. Contractors are cautioned that clauses and provisions within this RFP may include blocks that must be completed prior to submission of the quotes. Quotes should contain the Contractor�s best terms on price and technical approach. Particular attention should be paid to FAR 52.204-24, 25 & 26. Source Selection will be based on price and other factors in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106. Technical (capability of the proposed service offered to meet the requirement), specifically, complete the SOO (see FAR 37.602), including Part Five &checklist (include in proposal) for Technical Exhibit One � Specific Tasks, product (i.e. battery)/service/company literature and warranty provisions, Price and Past Performance (through CPARS/FAPIIS FAR Part 13.106-2(b)(3)(ii)(C)).
