- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. THE SUBMISSION OF PRICING, CAPABILITIES FOR PLANNING PURPOSES, AND OTHER MARKET INFORMATION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AND ALLOWED UNDER THIS RFI IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) FAR 15.201 (e). ALL INFORMATION RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO THIS RFI THAT IS MARKED AS PROPRIETARY WILL BE HANDLED ACCORDINGLY. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 334516 with 1,000 employee small business size standard. If VA s pending market research establishes that two or more Service Disables Veteran Own Small Business/ Veteran Owned Small Business who are certified in VA s Vendor Information website https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ eligible and capable, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C. §8127. General Requirement: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 22 is seeking sources that can provide a Fully Automated Single Gene Molecular System, reagents and supplies for the generation of EGFR single gene reportable patient result through a Cost-Per-Reportable-Result (CPRR) contract. Attachment A - SOW is a draft that describes the requirements. Attachment B Schedule contains estimate annual test volume. The information identified in the SOW are intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, or inclusive, and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the Government they can provide the supplies/services that fulfill the required specifications. Please note the SOW is a draft and can be revised based on the information from the responses received. See Attachment A SOW and Attachment B Schedule for more details. Please acknowledge in the green boxes on Attachment A SOW the suggested Fully Automated Single Gene Molecular System meets or exceeds the minimum requirement. Offeror may make references in the green boxes to documentation that supports offeror assertions. Clearly identify all attachments referring to the section and subsection they reference. Response to this source sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the later solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
