Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source contract to BAE Systems Information and Electronics Systems Integration, (hereinafter referred to as �BAE Systems�), Nashua, New Hampshire. This contract will procure the FY2023-FY2027 OE-120()/UPX Antenna Group systems, retrofit kits, Installation and Checkout (INCO) Kits, production support, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) repairs, and technical data.� The total estimated quantity of OE-120()/UPX Antenna Group Systems, retrofit kits and INCO kits being procured is 121, or other such quantities that may be authorized and appropriated by Congress.� BAE Systems is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the OE-120()/UPX Antenna Group systems.� BAE Systems has the unique knowledge, experience, special skills, facilities, manufacturing techniques, and technical data required to produce the OE-120()/UPX Antenna Group.� This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements"". The Government does not intend to use the provisions of FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
