- THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) SUBPART 5.2 �SYNOPSES OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTIONS� NAICS: 336611 Estimated Delivery:� September 2021 Response Deadline:� 8/8/2021 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District (NWP) intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Hagler Systems (Hagler), to purchase replacement dredge pump parts for Dredge Yaquina. Dredge Essayons home port is in Portland, Oregon. The replacement components are: Suction Plate,�3062D-00-0065D Suction Liner,�3063D-00-0018G O-Ring (for suction plate installation),�7719P-10-04RUP Impeller,3065D-00-0028G Shaft Sleeve Kit (o-rings and aramid gaskets),�9749P-35-0000K Shaft Sleeve Gasket Kit (o-ring and aramid gaskets)�9748P-33-0000K Impeller Release Ring Bolt Kit,�9740P-13-31SSP Small Loc Tite Tube for Release Ring Bolts,�6703P-26-SPECP Stuffing Box Wear Plate,�0389A-00-0P40C Gasket (to install wear plate to stuffing box housing)�0479P-13-03MIP New Cleanouts REASON FOR SOLE SOURCE ACQUISITION: The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. Dredge Yaquina uses a proprietary dredge pumps.� The manufacturer of these components is Hagler. They are the only manufacturer that can fabricate and provide replacements. The Government intends to advertise a solicitation for this project on or around 08/8/2021.� At this time, a solicitation does not exist.� All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. *NO PHONE INQUIRIES, PLEASE.
