Statement of Need-ROODRA Multilab Series III Vascular Systems VAMC-WB determined the requirement for a Multilab Series ROODRA Vascular System with DICOM (brand name only for continuity with current equipment and the ability to share parts) Calibrated pulse-volume recording (C-PVR®) provides definitive-quality waveforms. This ensures much more accurate and reproducible waveforms for original diagnostic and post-interventional follow-up tests. Evaluate vascular blood flow via Pulse Volume Recording with diagnostic waveform analysis. Doppler signal, strength and quality are evaluated for vascular disease diagnosis and follow up. Full segmental studies can be performed in 20 to 25 minutes. The software was designed with touch screen in mind, so the large, easily read touch controls are quick, convenient and highly functional. WBVAMC currently only has one Vascular Arterial system for testing arterial flow and it is aged. The purchase of two new systems will ensure continued service to our Veterans with no interruption in care.
