Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (FHHCB), Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to E3 Gordon Stowe, 11805 W 62nd PL, Shawnee, KS 66203-2655 under the authority 41 U.S.C. 1901, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source is reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. This requirement is for the purchase of two (2) Medical Audiometers and Titan Software. Particularly, the Government requires two (2) Interacoustics Titan Ver. 4 Clinical w/Multiple Probe Tones and DP Mod Clinical DPOAE Add-on to Titan hand-held medical auditory testing devices with software install � for the Audiology Department at Irwin Army Community Hospital (IACH), located at Fort Riley, Kansas 66442. Award will be on or about 26 August 2021.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 Employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for two (2) Interacoustics Medical Audiometers and Titan Software for the Audiology Department - IACH. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonable available. A solicitation will not be published.
