Description
This acquisition is a total small business set aside. This Request For Proposal Solicitation Number will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is being synopsized under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238910. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The small business size standard is $15M. The Contractor shall provide the government with the demolition of Space Launch Complex-2 (SLC-2) Buildings 1619, 1624, and 1632 and the design, construction, and warranty for the electrical power relocation of the electrical service for Building 1632 on Vandenberg SFB, California. All work shall be in conformance with the requirements of the contract including furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management and other services (including engineering/technical support), items and incidentals necessary thereto. The work is required in support of the 30th Civil Engineering Squadron, Base Civil Engineering activities. The Government intends to award on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. The solicitation and subsequent amendments will be available via SAM.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans or bidders mailing list will be issued from this office.� All potential offerors must be registered on the SAM.gov website in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. It is important to read the solicitation completely, as there are terms and conditions that must be met by the prospective offeror in order for the proposal to be considered responsive. Any questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted via email to the points of contact listed in the solicitation. A site visit is scheduled for 10:00 AM Pacific on Wednesday, 21 July 2021, meeting at the Vandenberg AFB Visitor�s Center (corner of CA Highway 1 and California Blvd) on Vandenberg AFB, CA.� The purpose of the site visit is to view existing conditions regarding the solicitation and is not intended for contractors to present their capabilities.� Contractors wishing to attend the site visit must RSVP in writing by contacting ALL the following individuals no later than 3:00 PM Pacific on 19 July 2021. All required documentation must be submitted for base access approval.** **RAPIDGate does not work at Vandenberg AFB** Upon receipt of the RSVP, a confirmation of receipt will be sent from one of the Government parties with further information regarding the site visit.� Attendance to the site visit is not mandatory for contractors interested in proposing on the RFP; however, it is highly recommended.
