- Art Consultant Services. Indian Health Service is in need of an Art Consultant to assist in the design, placement, and purchase of Art, for the Sacred Oaks Healing Center, Davis, California.�The Sacred Oaks Healing Center is approximately 35,000 square feet with three buildings, thirty-two (32) beds and five (5) family suites. It includes classrooms, a computer lab, an art room, commercial kitchen, dining area, cultural space, exam rooms, administrative and medical areas, indoor half-court gymnasium, and a weight room. The Sacred Oaks Healing Center will provide comprehensive and holistic care as well as activities that enhance the spiritual and cultural needs of our Native American youth including: Mental health assessments, health care services, and individualized treatment plans; Structured chemical dependency programs (e.g., 12-step programs); Individual, group, and family therapy; Academic Education; as well as Vocational and Life Skills Training. Sources Sought. This announcement seeks information from industry, which will be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. The information gathered will be used to identify potential sources and if this effort can be competitive or set-aside for small business. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this synopsis. No solicitation, no specifications, and/or drawings are available for this procurement. The Government is interested in all businesses to include Native-Owned, 8(a), Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned Small Business concerns. The Government requests interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and provide the following information: Your small business status as it relates to the identified NAICS code; Provide information regarding potential teaming arrangements. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners; Provide a technical package with describes similar services your firm has offered to the Government and commercial customers in the past three years. Your technical package shall not exceed five (5) pages on 8�x10� front and back. Provide description(s) of recent and relevant work experience, within the past three years, where your firm provided full-service art consulting services at a psychiatric, rehabilitation, hospitals, clinics, and or medical office facility. Experience. Name each facility and the date(s) art consulting services were provided; Type of facility, its art needs, and how the art was affixed to the walls; and For the projects listed, please detail if you utilized culturally appropriate Native American works of art. The Government anticipates soliciting for an art consultant familiar with culturally appropriate Native American art as well as knowledge and experience in art placement at a rehabilitative facility. The Government anticipates the solicitation will be : A Commercial Service Contract (FAR Part 12); and Firm Fixed Priced in Nature; IAW with FAR 52.219-14(c)(1), Limitation on Sub-Contracting Services, ""At least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern.�Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response under this Sources Sought. This notice is for market research purposes only. The Government hopes to issue a firm fixed price contract with a base period (90 calendar days) and one option (90 calendar days).
