Description

OL:H/PZIOA, Hill AFB, Operational Contracting intends to award a Sole Source contract to Bauer, Inc. for Aircraft tire inflation, in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336413, the business size standard is 1,250 employees. �Bauer, Inc. is the only Manufacturer of Bauer Model 5871, in the United States. Furthermore they are the only Company that can provide Bauer Model 5871 Aircraft tire inflation cage with an auto-inflation feature that provides a 50 psi cutoff to ensure that the bead has been set on the wheel assembly, programmable PSI requirement that can be set to the specification of any aircraft wheel assembly, solid steel cage for operator safety, continuous monitoring of tire pressure during inflation, and multiple fault indicators for safety. Inflation cage must be able to provide 400 PSI of supplied air to the tire. This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of offers. However, any Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to provide this product or equivalency. Requests must include company name, address, telephone and facsimile numbers of the requester, e-mail address, Cage code and business size. All questions should be delivered via e-mail to jeffery.eggleston@us.af.mil, no later than 1100 MST 4 August 2021.
