Description

The Federal Emergency Management Agency intends to award a sole source purchase order to Triton Metals for EMP/HEMP protected server racks in operation mode.�A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the government.�The nature of this work necessitates a contractor that has pre-existing experience and knowledge and testing ability of organizational and relational knowledge of FEMA.�Triton Metals is the only vendor that can provide the EMP/HEMP protected server racks because they are the only company that tests the equipment in the racks based on specified/approved Design Package from the PEP Station Modernization Design Standard Task Order, HSFE50-16-J-0215 requirements. If this work were performed by any other vendor, they would not be able to test the racks appropriately and this testing is critical to ensure FEMA equipment meets the EMP/HEMP protected standard to avoid any potential damages or disuptions.�Even though the intent is for a sole source contract, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement through email submission to tara.duckworth@fema.dhs.gov�no later than 09:00 AM Eastern, 11 August 2021. If no responses are received by the above referenced date/time a sole source contract will be awarded to Triton Metals.�The award date is estimated to be no later than 15 August�2021. Deliverables: 1) 5 ea Server Rack Cabinet 2) Cabinet per set includes: 20U Rack and 10U Rack 3) Cabinets should be lockable with internal airflow to keep equipment at operating temperatures 4) Any applicable warranties for any part that is repaired and/or replaced
