Description

The Contractor shall purchase and install multiple, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) on 47 floors for 14 separate barracks buildings on Schofield Barracks and Wheeler Army Airfield (WAAF). Cameras shall be installed in such a manner that all stairwells, laundry rooms, day/common rooms, and entryways of buildings are surveilled with a maximum of two cameras per location, if needed. At hallways, the Contractor shall install as many cameras in the hallways to ensure maximum coverage. A central monitoring station shall be included in each barracks building at the Company Quarters (CQ) desk to monitor that specific building. Contractor shall install wiring in the ceiling and as a last resort surface mounted or drilled through the wall, with DIVENG permission. CCTV Cameras shall be installed such that each building shall be separately monitored, and no individual, or group of individuals, shall have access to all of, or multiple, barracks buildings CCTV footage. The Contractor shall provide a camera layout plan to the DIVENG for approval as part of their proposal and submittal. Camera breakdown is as follows: one camera per day room; one per laundry room; one per mail room; one per each stairwell level; one per staff duty Charge of Quarters (CQ) area and a maximum of four per hallway. All other recommended locations by the contractor shall be presented for review and approval from the DIVENG. VENDOR QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED NLT�31 JUL 2021
