Description
ESD & Anti-Vibration Desk Information * 8 - 60x30x36 Inch (WxDxH) Desks * 3 - 72x30x42 Inch (WxDxH) Desks Both need to have * ESD Work Surface Grounding Kit * Adjustable height legs * Grommet for wire management * Anti-vibration levelers Desks are custom build with the purpose of 3D printing, Electronic building, and computer facilities. Desks are ESD (electrostatic discharge) so they do not conduct electricity while building raspberry pies and other electrical components so they do not get ruined. This also reduces the risk of short circuiting computers, 3D printers and AR/VR systems through electrical discharges. Custom built desks are also sized and measured to fit the specific dimensions of the room as to save space while also fitting computers and 3D printers in safe ways. Desks are also fitted with wire management to avoid safety issues with large amount of cables running through areas as well as power strips to avoid static discharge and power supplys being left openly on floors. Desks are adjustable for sitting and standing heights while still being secure allowing for versatility without risk of unit damage. Desks also are built with anti-vibration system in legs to make sure they do not shake, move, or vibrate. Anti-vibration is crucial with 3D printing as the slightest shake can un-calibrate he printer and ruin hours or days worth of product work resulting in loss. With anti-vibration, 3D Printers are more stable and safe as is electrical work being conducted as electrical parts are small and require precise movements. Anti-vibration also allows for secure placement resulting in reduced risk of towers and monitors having fall damage. Other vendors that make and sell ESD work stations do not sell them as desks but rather as workstations which will not worth for mounting multiple 3D printers, monitors and computers on. Other vendors make ESD and Anti vibration workstations but they are separate styles and not flat top desks. The purpose for buying is that they allow for the combination of adjustable sizing, Power supply, ESD properties, and Anti vibration capabilities where other companies do not. NEEDS the above combination of abilities that allows without having to sacrifice either the ESD or Anti vibration portions of the desk which for 3D printing and other innovation projects. Rational for height differences and need for adjustable height There are 8 that are sized for the computers and tower and the other 3 are for the printer farm for top and bottom. The height requirements on there are the set / max height. Anywhere from 2-4 Inches adjustable would be perfect in case we need to lower them for any reason in the future.
