Description

1. Background: The US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (DEVCOM-AC) is seeking vendors capable of providing ongoing support to the Pyrotechnics Technology Division for on-site service, inspection, and calibration for two 75-ton C-frame hydraulic presses. Proper maintenance and timely repairs are crucial for uninterrupted support of DEVCOM-AC's mission. Both presses were manufactured and installed in 2009 by Grimco Hydraulic Presses of Paterson, New Jersey. More specifically, both of these Grimco presses are designated ""75 TON COMPRESSION PRESS, HYDRAULIC, MODEL: 75C-3624-ESX, SERIAL NO. 43301109-1-2"". 2. Requirements: The Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the required services. Services required, for both presses, include: (1) Change hydraulic oil and properly dispose of used oil; (2) Inspect and service hydraulic pumps and cooling units; (3) Check and adjust alignment/level of top pressing plate with respect to bottom plate; (4) Check and calibrate computer-controlled distance read-out; (5) Identify and perform other required maintenance. Note: The use and/or handling of any energetic or hazardous material is not required; however, energetic and/or hazardous materials may be present during the execution of this proposed effort. 3. Place of Performance: Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 4. Submission Details: This market survey is for information only, and shall not be construed as a solicitation/request for a proposal or as an obligation on the part of the US Government. The US Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide the required service, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, primary points of contact and their email addresses, Web site address, telephone number, GSA MAS/SIN, CAGE Code and DUNS number, and size of business (i.e. large, small, disadvantaged, veteran owned, woman owned, etc.); and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the requirements of this notice (e.g., service brochure, catalog/schedule pricing, etc). If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver this capability, please identify your major partners or suppliers.
