Description
Veteran Affairs Healthcare Systems (VA HCS) Project # 635-21-114, Replace Lawton Outpatient Clinic Air Cool Chiller at Lawton, OK I. GENERAL: THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE THE FULL SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON or AFTER 5/24/2021 Air Handler Unit (AHU) replacement NAICS CODE 238220 This solicitation will be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Magnitude; $250,000.00 - $500,000.00 Description of Work Remove the current Air Handler Unit (AHU) in a confined space on the 2nd floor of building 9 and replace it with a new AHU that includes any duct work replacement needed to complete the installation. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material to install new VA approve AHU units and exhaust fans for building 9. The Contractor shall pump-down and recover the refrigerant from all units effected by this project. Disconnect, de-pipe, detach, and remove the existing unit equipment at an offsite disposal site or recycling center in compliance with the regulatory requirements. Provide and/or connect all required piping, electrical conduit and wiring, controls, ductwork, VAV boxes, condensate, insulations and necessary appurtenances. Remove, cut, alter, replace, patch and repair existing work as necessary to install new equipment/component. Existing work to be altered or extended and that is found to be defective in any way, shall be reported to the COR before it is disturbed. Materials used in restoring work shall conform in type and quality to that of original existing construction, except as otherwise shown The Contractor is responsible for upgrading control for each unit to digital control system which includes but are not limited to upgrade actuators, VAV boxes, thermostats, wiring to such components, and integrate those to existing Johnson Control system. The Contractor shall remove existing insulation and reinsulate the ducts. The contractor shall thoroughly clean all ductwork. The cleaning shall include all supply and return ductwork supply as well flex ducts from the mains to the diffusers. All diffusers shall be cleaned with appropriate method. The Contractor shall provide and install concrete pad, vibration isolator, piping, condensate drain, floor drain for the new unit as required. The Contractor is responsible for testing and balancing of all installed equipment and provide a detailed digital report to VHA MS COR and Eastern Kansas VA representative. The Contractor shall provide 2D CAD (REVIT 2015 or later) as built drawing shall be provided to show all work, equipment, piping, penetrations, interior/exterior features, cables, panels, etc. that are to be installed in this project. Contractor shall provide an adequate work force to complete all work associated with this project (i.e. plan, design, installation, and removal of project debris, and final cleanup
