Description
The contractor will disassemble the C-130�s while collecting all materials and waste (to include HazWaste) to be salvaged by them or, in the case fluid HazWaste, turned over to the 787 CES� This will be accomplished by utilization of proper procedures and protocols to safeguard from spillages during disassembles (i.e. tarps, pads). The contractor will disassemble the C-130�s to the minimal requirements to transport them on roadways, assuring that the fuselage will be reassembled and structurally sound. The contractor will reassemble and bed down the C-130�s complete aircraft fuselages with cargo �door and ramp operable. The contractor shall assemble permanent stands replacing landing gear. The contractor shall bed down, secure/install C-130 aircrafts on site (concrete slab). Wing Center Section will be cut and capped. �Wing root splicing for transportation purpose �is permitted. Preserving its structural integrity, no bending, folding, or cracking is a must. The contractor shall remove inner wings at cut area, cut off areas of left and right center wing box and horizontal and vertical tail sections per agreement. All remaining materials, debris, and waste will be removed from the site at the contractor�s expense.� This includes, but is not limited to, the wing and tail assemblies, engines, propellers and any salvageable and unsalvageable parts unnecessary for the intended use of the remaining fuselage.� Additionally, save list items must be returned to the government.
