Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. �This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: W50S87-21-Q-5062 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-05. This acquisition is issued as a small business set-aside. �The NAICS code specified for this requirement is 315990, with size standard of 500 employees. Description:� ESAPI Ballistic body protection plates. �Berry Amendment compliant.� Must meet NIJ Standard 0101.06 Level IIIA requirements. �Maximum weight: 0.87 pounds per square foot. Maximum thickness: 0.20 inches.� Vendor is to provide specification sheets with quote for the items requested showing they meet the above requirements. Contract Line Item Numbers: 0001 � Ballistic Body Protection Plate Backer, Qty. 20 / Dimension 7.25in x 11.5in 0002 � Ballistic Body Protection Plate Backer, Qty. 62 / Dimension 8.75in x 11.75in 0003 � Ballistic Body Protection Plate Backer, Qty. 50 / Dimension 9.5in x 12.5in 0004 � Ballistic Body Protection Plate Backer, Qty. 20 / Dimension 10.25in x 13.25in 0005 � Ballistic Body Protection Side Insert, Qty. 152 / Dimension 6in x 6in Government�s intent is to have 76 sets, with a set being 2 plate backers (1 front and 1 back), and 2 side inserts (1 on each side).� Submit pricing based on the 5 line items above. Prices must include delivery to 4930 Minuteman Way, Charlotte, NC 28208.� FOB Destination.� Delivery within 120 calendar days of contract award. Evaluation � As a result of this solicitation, the Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote, conforming to this request for quote, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price.
