- GENERAL INFORMATION Document Type: Pre-Solicitation Solicitation Number: 140P8521R0007 Posted Date: July 13, 2021 Acquisition: Total Small Business Set-Aside Magnitude: $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00 NAICS Code: 236220 PSC Code: Z2AA DESCRIPTION This is a pre-solicitation notice for the Emergency Communications Center Expansion and Renovation construction project located at the NPS El Portal Maintenance Facility Building, Yosemite National Park, CA. The project consists of the following: -Renovation of approximately 530 square feet of unutilized lobby space into additional office space. -Reconfiguration 260 square feet of lobby space and stairway to retain functional entryway. -Approximately 1,700 square feet of exterior site and landscape work. -Installation backup emergency generator. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. This requirement will be competed as a total small business set-aside pursuant to FAR Part 6. This will be a firm fixed price contract. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about July 28, 2021 on beta.sam.gov. The drawings, specifications and additional attachments will also be provided at the beta.sam.gov website at that time. The period of performance for this requirement is estimated at 168 calendar days beginning approximately in mid-September 2021. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review these sites frequently for any updates or amendments. It should be noted that paper copies of documents will not be provided. Offerors must be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) or may not be considered for award. Registration can be accomplished at http://sam.gov. A site visit date, time and meeting location will be provided in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement. All qualified small businesses may submit a quote, which if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered. Award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) to the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
