Description

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.� Offers for other services must contain complete service information and prices. This announcement constitutes the only notice; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice will be open for 15 days in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(2). �Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 6913G6-21-Q-300069. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541330, which has a Small Business Size Standard of $16,500,000.00.� The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).� The Government is expected to place a purchase order with Johns Hopkins University ., as they are the only known source capable of meeting the Government�s requirement.� The Sole Source Justification is attached. This procurement will be processed using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A Labor-Hour (LH) type purchase order is anticipated.� The required period of performance for this requirement is 13 August 2021 � 30 September 2021.� Volpe, The National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe) has a requirement for Automatic Dependent Surveillance � Broadcast (ADS-B) Services as described in the justification.
