- **NOTE** Solicitation was initially advertised under the�Presoliciation Notice (W912PM21B0005), uploaded files on 7/20/21, remain unchanged from posting on 7/14/21**.� The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract for Eagle Island Confined Disposal Facility for Erosion Protection, Cell 2, (FY21), Brunswick County, North Carolina, W912PM21B0005. THIS SOLICITATION IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE: This solicitation is anticipated to issue as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will issue on or about June 30, 2021, bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. The magnitude of construction for this work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. NAICS 237990 � Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $39,500,000.00. The project includes work at Cell 2 of the Government owned Eagle Island Confined Disposal Facility[KMKCUC(1]� (CDF) also referred to as the Dredged Material Disposal Area.� For Cell 2, this work consists of constructing approximately 1,000 linear feet of erosion protection along the toe berm and dike toe located on the Cape Fear River (east) side and includes general grading of the existing dike and toe berm, placement of bedding and riprap materials, and sediment and erosion control. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation.� This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only.� No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc.) will be provided.�� Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.� Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments.
