This is a Sources Sought Notice only.� This Sources Sought Notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or a Request for Quotations, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract.� The purpose of this Source Sought Notice is for market research purposes only.� Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation.� The USDA/Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is conducting market research to support the USDA/ARS/SEA, Plant Science Research Unit (PSRU), Raleigh, NC location. Seeking contractor to provide: A 12-month service contract for MERIDIAN 1 Channel Liquid Dispensing System serial#02-00058. A 12-month service contract for OKTOPURE Automated DNA Extraction System serial#09-00112. Service contracts should include a preventative maintenance inspection of the instrument, re-assembly & calibration of the instrument, upgrade of any software to the current production status as can be done without a hardware or operating system upgrade, replacement of any manufacturer authorized replacement parts and component(s) that have failed or are otherwise defective during normal operation of the instrument, and unlimited service visits during the Term (12-months) including labor and travel expenses as performed by contractor.� Any additional applicable fees. Period of Performance for service contracts listed above:� 09/01/2021-08/31/2022. Responses should include: Organization Name, address, contact phone number, e-mail address, and web site address.
