- Special Notice Special Notice Page 2 of 2 PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) awarded a sole source contract to PICIS Clinical Solutions, Inc., 100 Quannapowitt Parkway, STE 405, Wakefield,MA 01880 located at the Alexandria VAMC, Gulf Coast VAHCS, Fayetteville VAMC, Houston VAMC and Jackson VAMC. VA facilities have a requirement and intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Picis for support of the installed Critical Care Manager product. The Contractor shall provide all software upgrades, maintenance, and technical support services for the Picis Critical Care Manager system, in both Test and Production environments, within the five VISN 16 Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC), for a period of three months. This shall include all scheduled preventive maintenance, unscheduled repairs/corrective software maintenance, technical support, and database administration support and services Based on market research and previous acquisition history, it has been determined that PICIS Clinical Solutions, Inc. is the only vendor capable of providing these services. This notice will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 541511, custom computer programming services. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per 41 USC ยง3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302 1. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement, to include the documentation required by VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 852.212-72(c) to the attention of: Shawn Vanzandt, email address: shawn.vanzandt@va.gov, no later than August 6th 2021, at 08:00am Central Standard Time. Only emailed responses will be considered. Information received will be utilized solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
