- Description
- The Jacksonville District is procuring construction services for Central Everglades Planning�Project (CEPP), Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA), A-2 Reservoir Project located in Palm Beach County, FL. Preproposal Conference A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Wednesday, July 28th, 2021 from 10:00am - 11:00am, EST via teleconference. Scope of Work The Scope of Work for this project includes the construction of the following: The construction of approximately 7.2 miles of parallel open channels (canals)�as well as a maintenance road with benches between the canals. The northern�most canal (seepage canal) will have a bottom width of 10 feet, 2.5H:1V side�slopes, and an approximate depth of 16.5 feet below natural ground surface. The�southernmost canal (Inflow/Outflow canal) will have a bottom width of 55 feet,�2.5H:1V side slopes, and an approximate depth of 16.5 feet below natural ground�surface. The maintenance road and benches will separate the seepage and�Inflow/Outflow Canals by approximately 65 feet and will have a minimum crest�width of 14 feet approximately 4.5 feet above natural ground surface. Work will�also include the crushing, processing, and stockpiling of excavated material�within the project construction limits. Work may also include construction of or�modification to site access from U.S. Hwy 27 as well as the construction and�maintenance of haul roads and associated site drainage features. All lands for�this project are owned by the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and provided to the USACE for construction of these project features. ESTIMATED TASK ORDER MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: $25,000,000 to $100,000,000. ESTIMATED TASK ORDER PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 730 calendar days. NAICS: 237990 SIZESTANDARD: $39,500,000. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the government utilizing best value source selection procedures. Proposals will be evaluated in the areas of Technical Merit, Past Performance, Small Business Participation, and Price.
