- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project 658-21-106 Replace Building 8 Building 11 and West Corridor Roofs The Department of Veterans Affairs, Salem, Virginia has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials and supervision necessary to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for 658-21-106 Replace Building 8, Building 11 and West Corridor roofs project as required by accompanying drawings and specifications. This project outlines both the demolition and new work associated with the roof removal of Building 8, Building 11 and West Corridor Project 658-21-106 for the Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1970 Roanoke Blvd., Salem, Virginia 24153. Magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS CODE: 238160 Roofing Contractors Size Standard: $16.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about July 13, 2021. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposal will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No proposal list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website.
