- The Department of Veterans Affairs, 508 Fulton Street Durham, NC has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 558-19-212, to renovate 4B, Durham VAMC 508 Fulton Street Durham, NC. General Scope: (a) General: The work will consist of the gutting and renovation of approximately 8,000 square feet of space in Wing ""B"" on the 4th floor of the existing medical center. The renovation will provide 12 modernized pre and post operation patient rooms and 4 short stay observation rooms. The work is to be accomplished in a single phase. (b) Construction Duration: Contractor shall have 12 months to complete the project. (c) Phasing: Project construction will be completed in one phase. (d) Construction Services: Perform work as described above and in accordance with professionally developed design drawings and specifications. Shutdowns shall be performed after hours as necessary to minimize disruption to medical center operations. (e) Place of Performance: Tasks will be performed at the VA Medical Center Durham, NC. Work will be around an occupied healthcare facility in operation 24 hours a day. This area will require appropriate personal protective equipment and proper infection control measures. Estimated construction magnitude is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000 NAICS CODE: 236220 Size Standard: $39.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a SDVOSB Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about August 16, 2021. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 60 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website.
