- Page 3 of 3 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number 36C24821Q1386 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. The provisions and clauses in this document are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-04, January 19, 2021. This solicitation intends to award a contract through full and open competition after exclusions under a SB set aside to a business associated with NAICS Code 339113 with a size standard of 750 employees. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to make a procurement for a Brand Name or Equal to 3M Bair Hugger (Model 775) Patient Warming Unit for the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, Palm Beach, FL. See salient characteristics below. CLIN Qty Unit Description 0001 12 Ea. Warming Unit 0002 12 Ea. Rolling Cart 0003 12 Ea. Rolling Cart Handles Required salient characteristics/standards are contained in the attached and listed below. Comparative evaluations will be performed after all quotes have been received. Salient Characteristics Patient Warming System: 1) Unit dimensions H x W x D 13 x 14 x 13 in 33 x 36 x 33 cm 2) Unit weight 16 lbs. 7.3 kg 3) Hose Length 80 inches 245 Blood/Fluid Warming Unit with either the 24200 Ranger Standard Flow Fluid Warming Cassette or the 24250 Ranger Standard Flow Fluid Warming Cassette. 4) Proved flicker-free operation 5) Leakage current must meet electric safety of UL60601-1 and IEC 60601-1 requirements 6)Operating temperatures: Ambient Low: 32°C (89.6°F) Medium: 38°C (100.4°F) High: 43°C (109.4°F) 7) Must have a temperature display resolution 1°C 8) Airflow setting Two speed, adjustable Up to 48 CFM (22.7 L/s) Temperature accuracy ±1.5°C 9) Operators' experience sound level 53 dBA (High fan) 48 dBA (Low fan) 10) Filter and recommended change MERV 14* Every 12 months or 500 hours of use Offeror quotations must demonstrate meeting the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristic specified in this solicitation, otherwise it will be considered non-responsive. The information identified provided is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality that will be satisfactory. The interested parties bear full responsibility to ensure their submission demonstrates to the government that they can provide the supplies being requested. Only new equipment is acceptable; no remanufactured, used/refurbished or ""gray market"" items. No product in development shall be considered. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. At a minimum the quote shall contain the following: The name, address, and telephone number of the vendor. Tax Identification Number (TIN) DUNS Number / Cage Code Point of Contact for submission of orders if awarded a contract Authorized Distributor Letter certified by OEM.
