- Synopsis: The purpose of this notice is to announce that the Government intends to procure Retherm Meal Tray Systems under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for VA Northern California Health Care System for three campuses: Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Livermore. The solicitation will be advertised as full and open (unrestricted). Contractor shall remove the existing Ala Cart Meal Tray System and provide/install a new meal tray system at each location. The project will need to be completed within four months (120 days) after contract award. The applicable NAICS code is 333318, Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental. The size standard is 1000 Employees. The PSC is 7320, Kitchen Equipment and Appliances. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about July 7, 2021 and will be posted on beta.SAM.gov. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents will not be available all documents for quoting purposes will be posted at this website for download. Quotes will be due 21 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of quotes. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement.
