Description

The 704th Test Group (704 TG) mission is to be the premier provider of unique test and evaluation capabilities relevant to tomorrow�s warfighter through world-class people improving technical excellence, cost-effectiveness, and agility.� The 846th Test Squadron (846 TS) is one of the units assigned to the 704 TG.� The 846 TS�s primary test capability is the Holloman High Speed Test Track (HHSTT) where rocket powered sled trains are utilized to simulate flight-like environments and scenarios with the control and recovery of a ground-based system.� In order to collect data from these systems, various sensors are essential.� These sensors are required for test mission validation of various avionics platforms, payloads, and equipment for the Department of Defense in conjunction with its partners over a number of differing rocket sled configurations.� The 846 TS must purchase sensors for each mission.� See the attached Holloman High Speed Test Track (HHSTT) Sensor Purchase Requirements Document for detailed sensor requirements.
