- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, intends to issue a solicitation to procure MK96 Mod 2 Cold Gas Fleet Exercise Section Machined Parts in accordance with the NAVSEA Drawings listed in NAVSEA 4340/2, Government Furnished Information. �The manufacturer shall be ISO 9001:2015 certified. The Government anticipates awarding an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Firm Fixed Price supply contract with a five-year ordering period.� It will include line items for First Articles and Production Units to support the United States Navy and Foreign Military Sales.� The solicitation number for this requirement is N0025321R0017.� Offers shall be FOB Destination.� The target contract award date is February 22, 2022. The NAICS code is 332322, Sheet Metal Work Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees.� The primary Product Service Codes are 1355 and 1356.� This solicitation will be�Unrestricted.� The Government anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about September 3 2021, with a 30-day response time.� The contracting office is not maintaining a bidders list.� Failure to respond to the electronically posted solicitation and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render the offer non-responsive and result in rejection. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies.� However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 7 days of this notice. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-171 applies. �The contractor shall have a current assessment (not more than 3 years old) for each covered contractor information system that is relevant to this requirement.� Additional information regarding NIST SP 800-171 can be found at https://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/pdi/cyber/strategically_assessing_contractor_implementation_of_NIST_SP_800-171.html and https://www.sprs.csd.disa.mil/nistsp.htm.� The Joint Certification Program (JCP) also applies.� To request JCP certification, follow the instructions for completing/submitting the DD Form 2345 at https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP/DD2345Instructions/.� NOTICE: To receive the drawings associated with this solicitation, the Company point of contact identified at https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/jcp/search.aspx must send an email request to Julie.Thomas@navy.mil.� The request shall include company name; complete address; CAGE code; point of contact name, email address, phone number; JCP registration number; and current NIST SP 800-171 Confidence Level Assessment rating (Basic, Medium, or High).� The drawings will be provided only to those companies with an active JCP certificate and a minimum Confidence Level Assessment of �Medium� in the NIST SP 800-171 Assessment report contained in the Supplier Performance Risk System.� Offerors must have a current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, https://sam.gov/.� All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which the agency shall consider.� All inquiries must be submitted to Julie.Thomas@navy.mil.
