- This is a PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT to announce that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), Tampa, FL, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for an Optos California FA/ICG brand name or equal for the Ophthalmology Section. NAICS- 339112-Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. is applicable to this procurement. Size Standard 1,000 Employees. This procurement is to be set-aside 100% for SERVICE DISABLE VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Quotes from other than SDVOSB concerns shall be rejected and shall receive no further consideration. All interested parties MUST be registered in the SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) at https://sam.gov/SAM/ and for SDVOSB concerns must be registered and verified with Vet Biz at https://vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ The RFQ solicitation 36C24821Q1312 will be posted to the Contract Opportunities website on or about August 2, 2021.
