- VARONIS SOFTWARE LICENSES AND MAINTENANCES 1.� This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that will be issued; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government anticipates a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order will be issued from this solicitation. 2.� This requirement is being solicited as Request for Quotation (RFQ).� The RFQ number is NIH-RFQ-6040861. 3.� The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05, dated March 10, 2021. 4.� This requirement is solicited as a full and open competition.� The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210.� Its associated Small Business Size Standard is $41.5M. 5.� List of Item(s):� The vendor shall provide the following item(s) in the quantities specified below. It provides the ability to assign and track permissions across the file shares, which is essential for proper auditing of systems proposed contractor�s unique qualifications. The acquisition is to renew existing Varonis Software licenses and maintenance support utilized by OIT. Vendor must provide ongoing software updates and maintenance of the Varonis products utilized by OIT Proprietary data.� Varonis is a proprietary software and only the manufacturer or authorized resellers can provide the follow-on service or maintenance because of proprietary data.� The acquisition is limited to Varonis brand name only software. ���� b,� Period of Performance: The period of performance is 09/30/2021 through 09/29/2022. c.� General Requirements: Only quotes for Varonis Software are being solicited from the manufacturer or authorized resellers will be considered. 7.� 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) This RFQ incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. �Also, the full text of a solicitation provision may be accessed electronically at this address:� www.acquisition.gov/far 8.� Provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors � Commercial Items (Jun 2020) is incorporated by reference. 9.� Provision 52.212-2 Evaluation � Commercial Items (October 2014) is incorporated by reference. The provision 52.212-2 incorporated above is completed as follows. �Quotes received in response to this RFQ will be evaluated using the lowest-priced-technically-acceptable (LPTA) methodology. To be determined �Technically Acceptable� the offeror must meet or exceed all salient characteristics. �Award will be made to the vendor whose proposed machine meets all salient characteristics and whose total price is the lowest quote. 9.� Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications � Commercial Items (Feb 2021) applies to this acquisition. 10.� Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions�Commercial Items (Oct 2018), applies to this acquisition and no addenda to the clause are included. 11.� Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders�Commercial Items (Jan 2021), applies to this acquisition. 12.� Questions are due no later than 12:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, August 5, 2021.� Send questions via email to Zetherine Gore 13.� Quotes are due no later than 12:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.� Send quotes via email in PDF format to Zetherine Gore .
