Description
This is a sources sought notice for Runway Rubber Removal (R3) and Airfield striping at Dyess AFB, Texas. The Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals to successfully complete the Task Orders within specifications. It will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract and award will be made to a local small business concern. This acquisition will be considered under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 237310. Small business size standard is $39,500,000. The Government is seeking to gather market research for qualified contractors for the upcoming R3 and Airfield Striping IDIQ; issued using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction.� The Government intends to award a single IDIQ award (1 year base with 1 one-year option), IDIQ contract. The small business size standard is $39.5 Million. This Sources Sought is for market research purposes only and IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. 1. Contract Information The U.S. Air Force, 7th Contracting Squadron, Dyess AFB, Texas, is seeking capability statements from companies who possess the interest and capability for the upcoming Dyess AFB R3 and Airfield striping IDIQ and to execute the requirements outlined below: All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work and drawings provided for the seed project and all subsequent task orders. Work will consist of furnishing all necessary material, equipment, labor and general conditions to accomplish the following: a) Requirements issued under the R3 and Striping IDIQ will be Request for Proposals for runway rubber removal and re-striping at Dyess AFB. The Statement of Work (SOW) shall define the requirement in detail by Civil Engineering to include the appropriate performance period for each requirement taking into account the complexity of runway availability and, time of year when the work is to be accomplished. b) The work shall be executed in the best and most workmanlike manner. All work shall be accomplished in strict adherence to the contract documents and industry or regulatory standards. c) Performance and payment bonds will be required per individual task order in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 28. 2. Submission Requirements: Dyess Air Force Base is seeking a response from interested firms that qualify as a U.S. Small Business, or in the SBA Certified 8(a) Program, SBA Certified HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) in an attempt to facilitate decision making of potential sources for a possible procurement. Interested companies should submit a document describing relevant demonstrated experience and qualifications via email to TSgt Brandon Gilbert at Brandon.Gilbert.9@us.af.mil, or Mr. Danny Webb at Danny.Webb.2@us.af.mil no later than 2 September 2021.
